When I met Jenny at the Vintage Wedding Fair in Munich the first thing I noticed was her fabulous vintage coat (I am a sucker for a good coat, don’t shoot me). Five minutes into our conversation I had already decided for myself that I really, really wanted to photograph her wedding because everything she told me about it just sounded so perfect, fun, and beautiful. I have had the pleasure of working with some amazingly creative couples over the years and I love DIY weddings like this one in a beautiful village hall in Richmond last year. For me, a boho wedding in Bavaria was a photographer’s dream come true! Much to my delight, Jenny and Max did get in touch only a few weeks later and the rest is, as they say, history.
There’s so much about this laid-back boho wedding in Bavaria that I adore, from the home-made bouquet to the denim jacket wearing bridesmaids, but what struck me the most was how much genuine happiness and love all of Max and Jenny’s friends and family have for them. So much love. So much happiness. I couldn’t help but shed a little happy tear or two.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your day, ihr Lieben. Es war mir, wie man in Bayern so schön sagt, ein Volksfest!
